Woman With The Issue of Blood

A documentary about gynecological health disparities impacting African American women

The Issue We Can No Longer Ignore

For too many women, seeking care becomes a cycle of unanswered questions, prolonged pain, and unheard concerns. Conditions such as endometriosis, fibroids, and chronic menstrual disorders are frequently minimized, leading to years without proper diagnosis or treatment.

The impact extends beyond the physical. It affects mental health, family life, work, and overall quality of life. When symptoms are normalized or ignored, women are left navigating their health in isolation.

Women With the Issue of Blood exists to expose this reality, amplify lived experiences, and create space for informed conversations that lead to awareness, advocacy, and change.
